At Yogic Soul ("we," "our," or "us"), we operate under the belief that personal data is a digital extension of the self. We treat your information with the same reverence we treat the practice of yoga. This policy governs all data collection via the Yogic Soul mobile application and yogicsoul.com.
2. Categories of Information Collected
2.1. Provided Information
During account creation, we collect your primary contact details (Name, Email, Phone Number) and spiritual profile (Experience level, wellness goals, and preferred practice times).
2.2. Biometric and Health Integration
Our platform integrates with the Apple HealthKit API and Google Fit API. With your explicit, affirmative consent, we access the following data points:
- Heart Rate and Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
- Mindful Minutes
- Active Calories Burned
- Sleep Duration and Quality
This data is used exclusively to generate "Vedic Insights"—correlating your yoga consistency with physical health improvements. We do not store raw biometric data on our servers longer than necessary to process your session reports.
3. Usage of Information
We utilize your data to:
- Deliver personalized practice recommendations.
- Facilitate real-time feedback during Live Masterclasses.
- Improve the "Soul Progress" dashboard analytics.
- Prevent fraudulent behavior or violations of our community standards.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal, health, or biometric data to advertisers or brokers. Data is only shared with:
- Service Providers: Secure hosting (AWS), video streaming (Mux), and payment processing (Stripe/Apple).
- Masters: Instructors see your username and goal progress only if you join their specific Sangha or live session.
5. Data Governance and Deletion
You have the absolute right to "Be Forgotten." You may request full account deletion via the App Settings or by contacting privacy@yogicsoul.com. Upon deletion, all personal identifiers are purged from our active databases within 30 days.
